On Monday 2 September, the merger of Streem and Makios Logistics S.A. was completed, thus concluding, on schedule, the second phase of the Group's merger process. The first phase was completed in January 2024, with Streem merging with Unit Hellas S.A., Unit Shipping S.A. and Contrade S.A. in January 2024.

The next and final step towards the creation of a single entity in the logistics sector, with a leading position in the domestic market and international outreach, will be the merger with Orphee Beinoglou S.A., for which the relevant procedures are currently underway.

The new Group, together with its subsidiaries, will be an international entity, providing end-to-end logistics services (Road, Sea, Air, Rail, Warehousing, Courier and Value-Added Services).

Once the mergers are completed, the Group expects to further strengthen its position in the European logistics market by:

• Geographically expanding its network
• Improving its know-how
• Providing innovative services by investing in leading-edge technologies

Regarding Makios Logistics S.A., its facilities are strategically located next to the port of Thessaloniki in the Kalochori area (Kalochori Facility), in the Nea Chalkidona area (Gefyra Facility) with Rail infrastructure and in the central industrial area of Athens in Aspropyrgos (2 facilities).

The company, which started its activities in 1927 in Kavala and later in Thessaloniki, is considered one of the leading 3PL service providers in Southeast Europe and the largest transport company in the Balkans for liquid and bulk food products, bulk plastic materials for food packaging and Category 3 ABPs.
