As part of our CSR Program, OB Streem proudly sponsored local student championships in Aspropyrgos and Elefsina, supporting football, basketball and volleyball tournaments for young athletes aged 7 to 12.

A total of 850 children from 19 local clubs and academies took part in the event, which took place over four weekends between 17 November and 14 December 2024. Each child had the opportunity to participate in at least three matches per category, with a total of around 200 games played.

Specifically:

⚽ 590 children participated in football

🏀 160 in basketball

🏐 100 in volleyball

A variety of engaging activities were organized beyond the games, creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all. The tournament aimed to promote the values of fair play, teamwork and healthy competition – principles that foster personal growth and positively influence future decisions.

Celebrating the Spirit of Youth Sports

The basketball and volleyball finals took place on Sunday 1 December. The Mayor of Aspropyrgos, Mr Ioannis Elias, attended the basketball closing ceremony to show his support for the community's young athletes.

The football finals concluded the tournament on Saturday 14 December with an exciting closing ceremony where all clubs were awarded prizes. Mr Dimitris Kalligeris, Senior VP of Supply Chain Greece at OB Streem, had the honor of presenting the awards.
